An alert reader, who is quickly becoming one of my favorite readers, pointed out to me to a mysterious 30 second blip of information found in the Cedar Park, TX 4A Economic Development Corporation meeting. The meeting, which took place on Novemeber 17, 2008 can be viewed at this URL:

Scroll down to the 4A... section and click the video link.
If you can, fast forward to 8:15.
I have NOT seen the video, however, I have been told that it contains information provided by Phil Brewer, Director of Economic Development that essentially adds up to the following:
A Cedar park manufacturer who wishes to keep a low profile is preparing to expand and build out(?) a larger manufacturing facility.
Is it EEStor? Or some other low profile manufacturer in Cedar Park, TX? What other questions apply?
(Note: I had originally asked TV to post this info but couldnt resist. If someone could grab the snippet of commentary and post it in the comment field here, that would be much appreciated.)
Seems like good news/bad news to me. It seems like it is another check in the "They have something" box.
However, if they are just now thinking about expanding, the its going to be a long time before that comes to fruition.
I was hoping they already had a super secret factor somewhere :-(
Here is the transcript starting at 8:30

So, on November 17, 2008, this gentleman reports that several meetings have been set up, for expansion.
ZENN getting pre-production prototypes from the existing "plant", plus additional new facilities are at the *beginning* meetings *discussion* stage???
How big is Cedar Park?
From a population of 5,161 in 1990, Cedar Park grew to a population of 26,049 at the 2000 census. As of 2008, the population is estimated to be around 52,721, making it the seventh-fastest growing city in the United States. The city is a major suburb of Austin. The center of Austin is approximately 16 miles to the southeast, although Austin directly borders Cedar Park at the latter's southern extent. -wikipedia
A new way to speculate on EEStor ... buy Cedar Park real estate. :)
There could be a pilot production line in the current facility yet it could only handle very limited production. loading, unloading and storing tons of highly refined powder and moving this quantity of powder around is problematic in that existing facility. Storage of rolls of polyethylene, solvents ...the list gives me claustrophobia...
I would expect a nominal production line to be located near a railway siding AND colocated to where they will be used.
The next production line may be a scaled down production line for ebikes.
Does Zenn have any facilities near railroad tracks?
Anyone have an address to search on google earth?
...It’s later than we all expected, but “late 2008″ at least gives us something new to measure the company by. Besides, it appears the late 2008 applies just to Lockheed, according to one source close to EEStor. ZENN Motors, according to the source, “expects delivery before Lockheed Martin as the existing plant is exclusively for ZENN production.”...
This statement would be consistent with the planed new facility.
eestor address and phone number:
715 Discovery Blvd # 107, Cedar Park, TX - (512) 259-7601
a quick search on google maps shows they are near railroad tracks just to the west of them.
Google Maps does not show eestor as being a tenant at that location.
Didn't you know "EESTOR" is a very secretive company.
Looking again, I see that they provide a list of "selected companies at this address".
