The impression I got from the DW interview is that they just reached a milestone in the developement and get to the market with the results to generate money for ongoing research. After this first coming out there will be more closed doors again and a lot of follow up research. I think that they will surprize us with a very much improved component (energy per volume/ weight) in 2-3 years.
