Better Place will make EVs work for the common man and make money according to HSBC bank.

We don't need no stinkin' EESUs.

Don't be afraid: we will never get EESUs. It's a scam.

I guess if you can rent DVD's out of a vending machine, you can do the same with electric batteries. I can see this guy jumping off a highrise in Tel aviv at the reveal.

A working EESU would undermine A Better Place's model. Lack of an EESU wouldn't mean that ABP would succeed though.

Eventually the shortcomings of current battery technology that ABP seeks to address will have a technological solution. The question is will batteries improve more quickly than it takes ABP to roll out their infrastructure?

Lithium cells on average still don't have the longevity as Nimh. When they do then it makes this a bit more viable. A high ED cap is still the way to go and would be ideal mated to charging stations. Lithium is still a few years away for heavier vehicles and more suited for small lighweight vehicles short term. EEStor where are you?

Enjoyed the interview. I wish this company was public(maybe it is I don't know) and got in on it early on. It would be a nice hedge bet against Eestor.
