Aaron Carmody (aka goUSA, aka XYMOX) posted on the Yahoo message board that Ian Clifford and b are one in the same.

http://messages.finance.yahoo.com/Stocks_(A_to_Z)/Stocks_Z/threadview?m=tm&bn=85398&tid=59&mid=68&tof=1&rt=2&frt=2&off=1

Since I've met b face to face several times I know this to be false. Because Aaron is lying about Ian committing a crime (it would be illegal for Ian to impersonate someone on a blog to talk about ZMC) he has been asked to Cease and Desist all interactions with this blog.

I am also deleting the account which removes all post and all topics started by goUSA from pubic view. Although "good" postings will also be deleted because they are under a goUSA topic, this is a risk people take when engaging with a troll.

Please don't feed the trolls.

goUSA has also prompted a rule change. Posting offensive images of mentally challenged people will now get you put on probation.

well, there really isn't a way to verify what gousa said about Ian Clifford, whether it's true/false. They same way there really isn't a way to verify whether what b is saying is true/false.

Regardless who is being deleting, the price of Zenn stock is falling like a anchor. IC better get his act together and get something concrete.

regardless, it looks like Zenn will have serious competition from a company that has a pretty firm release date.

Applies to "Dick Weir" too! Remember he is the "No BS" man.

This company is not doing anything that can compete with Zenn if Eestor comes though.

"IF EESTOR COMES" I have been hearing this BS over 2 years. It just amazes me how many times the word "if' has been used on this site. B should change the name of this site to The_IF_EEStory.com.

TV,

While this topic is hot, I would like to propose minimum standards of civility for posts at this site. Pictures are not the only things that create offensive "images." I believe that there are words, viz. stupid, dumb, idiot etc., that serve no communicative purpose other than to be hurtful and offensive. Let's raise the standard on this site and not tolerate this kind of bashing.

This has become a widespread issue. See http://www.danieldrezner.com/archives/001414.html

http://hnn.us/articles/982.html#civil ,http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/09/technology/09... , http://www.qualitydigest.com/may07/columnists/l... .

Here are some thoughts I collected from the web:
"Setting standards for acceptable behaviour in a forum you control is conducive to free speech, not damaging to it. There's no reason why we should tolerate conversations online that we wouldn't tolerate in our living room."

Encourage bloggers to ignore "trolls" making nasty comments that fall short of abuse or libel. "Never wrestle with a pig," is the advice. "You both get dirty, but the pig likes it."

Pledge: We will always remember that the people we’re talking with are at least as important as the ideas that we’re discussing. Because of the detached interaction typical of online communication, we sometimes find ourselves forgetting that our conversational partners are real people discussing things that are sacred to them. Consequently, we open ourselves to the greater sins of hurtfulness and aggressive behaviors that contradict our commitments.

Would you rather I said when? Obviously it's "if".

Tom,

Thanks for taking the time to give this issue some serious thought. I agree that it only takes a few immature personalities to ruin the tone of a blog and we seem to have collected a number of trolls.

Problem is the effort to police this behavior is pretty high and I have neither the time nor inclination if the regulars are going to help the trolls mess up the forums by responding to almost ever single one of their taunts.

Let's see how it goes and I would encourage people starting topics to specify if this is an invite only topic and then list either the people invited or the people uninvited.

Expecting by March 09
Had been hoping for an early X-Mas present
Disappointed if it goes past Oct 09
