The EPO is now showing a link to the Divisional application EP2003664, but the link doesn't return anything yet. I have an email into EPO Procedural & Technical Support.

TY!
The patents / patent applications have been virtually the only "hard" source of technical info from EEStor.

I searched with EP2003664 under application and got:
03000664 EP1311032 FCI H01R12/32
EP1311032 - High density connector and method of manufacture

Makes no sense??

I take it all back, some cookie snafu? Ignore this :)

All though it is interesting.

That, my 1-dollar-bill friend, is the 64 billion of you question. Apparently, as far as extra detail and protection goes, it is not a special day. In addition to that, eestor seems to have their patent applications arse-end frontways and not fully covering what they ought to be. But that aside, fear not, a sprinkle of magic dust and closing your eyes to dream, it shall come.....

How about we wait 8 to 9 days when it's published and on EPO site? I agree there is likely to be "no net new news" but I'm hoping the rest of the patents might be published around the same time as this divisional patent application.

I'm sorry too, didn't mean to come off snippy.

Have never been to Thailand, but would love to go. Was going to take a side trip when I was last in Hong Kong but for some reason my wife didn't want me traveling by myself. Can't imagine what she was worried about. ;-)

The US Patent office has a backlog of about 730,000 patent applications. Says publicintegrity.org:

"A massive backlog of patent applications persists at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), a problem that experts warn can dampen innovation, discourage investors, and make inventors vulnerable to theft and exploitation."

Is this delay in processing patents affecting EEStor?

but you can search the patent applications, can't you? we'd be able to find out quite easily if eestor or a b.t. patent application was one of them?

The divisional application links come up empty for me. If you can view them, could you copy and post them here?

Both divisional patents still come up blank. Hopefully the first one, EP2003664, should be working by Thursday or Friday.

Unpublished EP-A documents in 2008
Most recent updates (difference between actual and previous stands) are in italics

Last update: 10.12.2008

Previous update: 26.11.2008

We regret that, due to a technical issue it was necessary to withdraw some EP A documents from publication. Only publication weeks 2008/50 - 2008/52 are affected. The documents concerned are available in the following table.

These EP A documents will be published with a new publication number. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

EP A1 2003664: 0851

This could take some time to do. TV, something new from your email inquiry?

Publication dates

From 2007 on the publication day for European patent applications and patent specifications will always be the Wednesday, irrespective of whether this day is a public holiday or not.

I expect them for this Wednesday 12/24/2008...a X-Mas gift!

sydd, can you provide a link to the information about what publication numbers will have to be re-done? I'm tracking two EEStor and several non EEStor patents and would like to know if any of them are also on the list.

And yes I do have question into the EPO.
