That is sooo Weir-d. What the heck is going on? Think its just problems with their database?

Of course. It's just a technical glitch and absolutely is *not* part of a global conspiracy involving EEStor and the Austin Illuminati, Morton Topfer and the Gnomes of Zurich, Michael Dell and the Computer Industry, Al Gore and the New World Order, Lockheed Martin and the military-industrial complex, or the Boy Sprouts and the Trilateral Commission. Fnord!

Nothing to see here, move along.

Dear Mr Villars,

Thank you for your e-mail which was forwarded to the
espa@cenet helpdesk for reply.

As already mentioned in my previous e-mail the
publication has been prepared, therefore the publication
number is present in Register Plus.

The general rule is that from the moment of preparation
of the publication until the actual publication date and
appearance in Register Plus/Esp@cenet
is currently 5 weeks. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you
with an exact date but as soon as the publication has
been published you will find in our database
esp@cenet.

Please note that from 2007 on the publication day for
European patent applications and patent specifications
will always be the Wednesday, irrespective
of whether this day is public holiday or not. Please also
find a link to the European publication server the
official publication platform of the EPO.

We regret that we cannot help you further with this
matter.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and
wish you a very Happy Christmas and all the best for the
New Year.

tvillars, you posted this topic on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008.

Today, Eastern Time, is Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008.
5 weeks for the "general rule", would make it today?

PET / Aluminum patent app. *now* showing 2 divisional patent applications:
http://v3.espacenet.com/textdoc?DB=EPODOC&IDX=EP2003664&CY=ep (non-responsive web page)
http://v3.espacenet.com/textdoc?DB=EPODOC&IDX=EP2015323&CY=ep (0 results response)

add EP2015323 to your list?

I checked EP2015323 this morning and it is still not up. I also did a search for new EEStor patents at the EPO and nothing there as well.

This is going to be one of those things were we wake up one morning and there will be a slew of new patent info to digest, but predicting when it will happen is a guessing game at best.

Kinda' like wondering if Ta'day (is) the day? :)

Sounds like the nominal status quo, in EEStory land. :(

Little disappointed here as the EPO has typically been very helpful but this makes it looks like they didn't have a handle on their own systems since they can't give a date when this will be fixed.

You do realize these are Europeans don't you?

For all the flack we Americans get for being "lazy" we do tend to work more days a week than our Old World counterparts. That, or our international subs are making out like bandits on their holiday benefits! =D
