What are your feelings on going KABOOM! ??? Because if you stray from the thread then that is the punishment.

What's the big deal with Tec. He's often annoying but so are other people. I think that I get tired of the same theme being repeated continuously. It doesn't matter if it's "Yeah EV" or "Yeah Diesel".
The world has many colors and some of them show up more often then others. I'm not a big fan of blue or green but they seem to be everywhere (the appearance of ocean, sky and trees). I think it makes me appreciate the other colors more because I see them less. I also look a little harder to find those less common colors. As a matter of fact, I probably tune out a lot of the beauty of blue and green because they're so common. I think we need all the colors and Tec's often repetitive opinion. I'm really just waiting for a reveal so this drama is all just entertainment for me with a little science update sprinkled in for education. Thanks to all. JMO

Hold on now Tecfan, you elected me prosecutor. If Tec wanders "just once" off the thread he's confined to his ultra capacitor powered ankle bracelet sends an auto alert to the eldorado data base and Tec goes KABOOM. There is no room for negotiation on that.

Because I like to speculate on things on this site, this is my speculation on what will happen to TEC, if B bans him.

News from the London Times:

Old British Bloke goes mad!!

British Bloke arrested today after yelling obscene words to police about some guy named B. The Bobbies said in a statement that, after trying to find out what his name was, he kept repeating that his name was Tec and he loved diesel. All he could say was diesel, diesel, diesel.... and esu sucks, esu sucks. Police are baffled by what this means. At last report, he was being sent to a mental facility for evaluation.

I have no doubt that my client being an fine honorable and disciplined englishman would ever knowingly break any agreement that he made with the courts.

I have left a message for my client and I am waiting to hear back on whether he will agree to the KABOOM or if he would rather you just hang him now and get it over with.

I think the courts should find some mercy for him. This man has given hours and hours of laughter and pleasure to many people on this board and probably in his regular life as well.

I find it rather sad that people seem unable to take his statements with a sense of humor and be a little less sensitive about the fact that he doesnt think EV's are ready for primetime or that the EESU will never come to market. Its simply his opinion. We should all love each other and celebrate diversity. :)

In fact he has stated that he would buy an EV if one was built that would be both cost and performance competitive.

I see little difference between Tecs posts and Lensman who would promote EV's even if they were ran by a pair of rechargeable AA batteries from RayOVac and went 15 feet on a full charge. They are different sides of the same coin.

Maybe the true solution is a monthly or weekly post limit for any given member, after which you have to pay $1 to $5 for each additional post. :)

I am not sure what dpoing is. I thought maybe Tec was feeling a tad rambuncious (sp?) and added an o by mistake. Frankly, I was afraid to enter the thread because the first image that came to mind was Tec in full desert camo in some sort of naughty 3 way pulling the womans hair and screaming kiss the gas can biatch!

Oh i just checked. It is apparently about some sort of solar installation in the desert.

Well, of course. I mean, we've all heard that camels store water in their humps**, right? But some camels need only one hump. Obviously they are more water efficient. I heard some Italian guy has genetically altered a camel so that it doesnt need food or water. It blows away all the other camels and this baby has 4 humps! I hear there is proof. He sold one to a camel herder and the guy isnt complaining so it must be true.

I think Desertec is doing what the US seems to spend its energy talking about but not actually doing much about. Looking to the future to alleviate a lack of oil.

Rumours that it is named after me and I am a big player in it may not be true.

I am thinking of suggesting to the IOC that they allow a new sport in next years Olympics.

Tec Abusing.

There are so many people dedicated to this sport that I feel it would be well supported. I am prepared (at a price) to sit in a comfy chair, mug of coffee to hand, and smile benignly as competitors take it in turn to hurl abuse and insults at me, whilst awarding points for originality, wit, cleverness and so forth.

It wouuld be nice to meet some of the people who indulge at a low level in the sport here, but I fear none of them would get through their respective nation's selection process. It is the rapier rather than the bludgeon that will be the winning weapon.

LOL! Well Tec I dont know how it is in the UK but here in the US its the basis of friendship between men to give each other a little grief. So you should be honored. It would be awesome if one day we all got to meet each other for a spot of tea and a keg or two of beer.
