This has been going on for several years now. The Pickens Plan has some good ideas but never forget they are ideas that first and foremost make money for Pickens. He has interest in natural gas drilling and delivery. Google the Pickens Plan. You will find info and videos going back years.

Nothing wrong with Pickens making money selling natural gas, especially if it would save the rest of us a substantial amount of money! That's not to say the Pickens Plan is the best solution; I was glad to hear that he dropped the idea of wind farms in Texas. (As I've pointed out many times, you can't justify the cost of installing wind farms in most places. The islands of northern Scotland, yes. Texas, no.) We are the 99%. A better world is possible. |

Nothing wrong with a profit. But as with any salesman you should not rely only on the facts from the salesman. As for wind power it seems to be working. Renewables Now Cheaper than Coal in Michigan, Could Be $5-Billion Industry. This includes Wind power. |
