Holy shit, When it's all written down like that.... DW IS NOT LATE by any stretch of the imagination. Especially if he is certifying a modified line that produces 4x or 10x EESUs.

If we get any official NNN before 2012 we should consider ourselves lucky.

ARRGGH!

I don't know why you and others think Zenn is dropping the ball.

Please explain.

Seriously?! I'm not a skeptic or a believer. But I do have some ZENN stock. Calculated risk/reward. I'm under no false notions that there is a significant change that this will blow up and get me rich. You're only setting yourself up for disappointment if you're already making plans for your newfound wealth. Do you act this way every time you buy a lottery ticket, even though the odds are 25 million-to-one?

I *do* believe there is a significant CHANCE that this will make me rich and yes I have made plans (as crazy as that is). I've spent thousands of hours on theestory trying to determine if I'm right.

But I have never bought a lottery ticket. This is not a lottery ticket. Odds of winning with Zenn/EESTor, I would guess to be around 70%.

Yes I will be disappointed if things go south, for myself, for the world, for my mates here, but as I said, in many ways it will be a relief if ZNN goes to zero and the story ends.

I've already half written off my gamble so don't worry about me. Life will go on.

According to hbert I'm already rich. and he's right.

I'm not ticked at Zenn. That's misplaced. DW is the one, rightly or wrongly, still committed to stealth, and the one calling all the shots.

So I'm ticked at DW (not really) but all will be forgiven once he feels like stealth has served it's purpose and he let's IC say something new.

The waiting is excrutiating. We are talking about a huge change in my family's life or not with this venture.

At this point, I'd really be glad for some closure either way.

For you Heeman, I can't think of another thing that Zenn could announce that would be both interesting and not stealing DW's thunder.

IC is basically trapped in a box until DW let's him out.

Balkanization of our government by disgruntled partisan whiners is just a fad that will reverse when they gain power. Until then, relax and offer constructive suggestions and work with those in power towards compromises that everyone can accept.

I wish there were more level-headed people like you.

CS is paid to be the spokesperson for a publicly traded company. The future health of her employer is clearly on the line. It's very survival is in question.
This (hopefully) thoughtless comment has further damaged her company's credibility.
Now a much stronger statement clarifying ZENN's relationship and communication with EESTOR, is needed -- and fast.
Bad job Catherine.

yeah, Catherine, wtf? er' excuse me. but c'mooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnn.

@ student.

I read that there has been increased expenditures for engineering, product development, business development, marketing and promotion.

and

As of the date of
this MD&A, the Company has not been made aware of any issue that would prevent EEStor from completing the development of its technology and as outlined in the overview of the Company’s engineering activity, ZMC continues to develop its solutions in anticipation of EEStor delivering its technology.

Good enough for me at this point.

Even with magna doing the heavy lifting? Might be the case.

Also maybe EEV is on to something.

From a business stand point this is a good thing. But one wonders whether ZENN Motor Company could possibly compete in this market without the EESU.

Drop-in upgradable to EEstor storage?

Now you're talking.

The insatiable demand for EESUs in so many non-transportation markets and the longish development times in the automotive industry in general means there will be a long wait before we have EESU powered cars on dealers lots.

B hinted a while back that Zenn investors won't get everything they are hoping for.

We may have EEStor NNN (related to other markets) from EEStor soon but Zenn likely won't have EESU related revenue for a long while.

Overall no bad news.

Is this really IC coming out of his "DW said STFU" foxhole?

Do we know for a fact that there were no similar events between January and August 2010 that IC/Zenn avoided attending/speaking at.

Maybe the fall is the season for EV conferences/events.

IC was on TV a few times last fall and not since January. Maybe that is telling. Let's keep an eye out for a BNN appearance.

My hope is that DW will throw us and IC a NNN bone before Sept. 13 but my gut is saying he may just do the same ol presentation. OTOH, why is the title of the presentation "The EEStor Ultra Capacitor" and not Zennergy?

I'd like to recommend this book: The Empathic Civilization

see a review from Arianna H. @ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/arianna-huffingto...>

Arianna wrote:

The Empathic Civilization is a fascinating book that boldly challenges the conventional view of human nature embedded in our educational systems, business practices, and political culture -- a view that sees human nature as detached, rational, and objective, and sees individuals as autonomous agents in pursuit primarily of material self-interest.

And it seeks to replace that view with a counter-narrative that allows humanity to see itself as an extended family living in a shared and interconnected world.

Again very well said John.

Dave and Heeman, your comments re capital and kids seem misdirected. Capital for investment is good. Inheritance is good. Poverty is not. The current rigging of the game is not. And extreme wealth when there is extreme poverty is definitely not.

It didn't "go" to them, they earned it.

Some did, most probably didn't "earn it". It's very easy to invest a pot full of cash and make money off of it - this is not "earning" anything by effort or skill - for many it's simply a birthright.

Ever heard of the idle rich? It's the growing horde who don't do a damn thing that's productive, but can afford to waste an average annual income daily on shit that nobody needs and does very little to create economic prosperity.

Thank you Antiguajohn,

It is a sad set of statistics.

Distribution of wealth within developed nations and between the prosperous nations and poorer nations is a major problem.

Hopefully technology will help but what is really needed is a change in thinking and policy. There needs to be a committment to the ideal that the economy needs to serve everyone not just the rich and powerful.

I advocate that as the world's wealthiest continue to become rich beyond amy possible conceivable need or want, that we begin to extend a hand to our fellow citizens that by no fault of their own, weren't born into the right families.

EVERY man, woman and child on this earth should be given a basic level of food, shelter, clothing, education and healthcare as a fundamental human right.

The brotherhood and sisterhood of humanity needs to pull together and bring the poorest billion out of suffering.

Considering the amount of EXTRA wealth and prosperity that has no useful purpose in this world, this is the least we can do. The amount of money required to do this would not even be missed if done properly.

This is not just a left-wing, communist approach.

Anybody who does serious research into the concept of a Guaranteed Annual Income will see that it is actually more cost effective than the welfare/unemployment insurance/poverty related crime fighting/ system that most countries employ today.

There is good data for this and advocates from "conservative" side of the spectrum are now advocating it.
